The practice is pleased to announce that extra clinics are being held on Monday evenings and alternate Saturday mornings. The appointments are pre-bookable and priority will be given to patients whose working hours make it difficult to come during the week. The practice will not be open for routine enquiries during these clinics.

Monday evenings 6.30pm - 8.00pm

Saturday mornings 8.30am - 11.30am

TRAINING PRACTICE

We are pleased to advise that we have been accredited to train doctors intending to become general practitioners. Sometimes the registrar may wish to video record their consultation. Your permission will always be requested beforehand. If you would rather not have your consultation videoed please let reception know.

FAST TRACK ARRIVALS SYSTEM

We have a fast track Arrivals System in the waiting room.

No need to queue at the desk if you have arrived for your appointment.
Use our Touch Screen System to automatically book yourself in.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS

We telephone patients the day before to remind them of their appointments.

On average about 104 patients each month miss their appointment.

Please remember - if you don't need your appointment or are unable to come then

let us know so we can offer it to someone else.

BLOOD PRESSURE MONITORING

We are encouraging all our patients to monitor their blood pressure. We have a blood pressure machine in the waiting room. Please feel free to use it whenever you like and then give the results into reception.

SMOKING STATUS

Please let us know your smoking status so we can keep our

records updated each year.

ALCOHOL MISUSE & SMOKING CESSATION CLINICS

We are now holding clinics for patients with alcohol problems. Walk-in clincis are held Wednesday afternoons.

We are also holding Smoking Cessation clinics on Tuesday afternoons.
